The Technical Standards Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all Technical Operations software systems and integrations adhere to company manuals policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. This individual, with strong change management and technical operations knowledge and experience, will create and maintain unit test scripts, define and document processes for maintenance information systems, , and perform testing of issues within the applications to determine necessary workarounds. They will also assist in the implementation of software upgrades and releases, and work with business partners to continuously improve the applications through the use of business process mapping, change management techniques, and the creation of new business processes as needed. In addition, the team member will collaborate with IT hardware and software teams on testing and provide support to other Breeze operational teams in any interfacing processes related to the aircraft electronic logbook or other products

This position can be located at any one of our Breeze bases: our Breeze bases are PVU, MSY, TPA, CHS, BDL, ORF, and PVD.

 

Here’s what you’ll do

• Design and improve business processes across various technical operations departments and functions
• Support the administration of various technical operations software applications
• Map out existing business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Support the implementation and maintenance of business applications
• Manage change within the organization, including the transition to new processes and technologies
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns, and use this information to inform process design and improvement efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities
• Communicate process design and improvement recommendations to stakeholders, and facilitate the implementation of these recommendations
• Document processes and procedures for easy reference and training purposes

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Trax, AMOS, or other maintenance software application across multiple areas
• 3+ years of experience in airline technical operations
• 3+ years of experience in business process design, business process mapping, software application administration support, change management, and data analysis
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform process design and improvement efforts
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g. Visio, BPMN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Certifications in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, information technology, engineering, business analyst, product management)
• Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
• Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g. Visio, BPMN)
• Experience with software application administration (e.g. installing, configuring, and maintaining applications)
• Knowledge of business application platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle) is a plus

Skills/Talents

  • Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate to Leadership
  • Must be able to handle high stress situations
  • Ability to work with fellow Team Members with a variety of personalities
  • Ability to multi-task easily
  • Must be fluent in English
