Position Summary
The Team Services Specialist is an integral member of the team responsible for ensuring Human Resources compliance, supporting project management, coordinating activities, and implementing initiatives on the team. They need to have excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills and a solid understanding of best practices to assist in building the right processes, as well as managing the day-to-day responsibilities and functions.
Essential Functions
Provide administrative support to the Team Services and Drug and Alcohol Program functions such as research, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry
Assist Team Members with pre-employment background checks, drug screening, onboarding, orientation, benefit enrollment and changes, and other questions pertaining to Team Services and Drug and Alcohol Program functions
Coordinate HRIS projects and maintain timelines as directed
Help establish and maintain compliance pieces such as posting appropriate communication, follow up on training assignments, and maintaining various reporting pieces as they develop
Work with other members of the team on various projects, events, and engagement
Coordinate facilities processes such as assigning building access, checking mail, setting up work spaces, maintaining office supplies, etc.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
4-year degree or equivalent work experience
1+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
1+ years of experience coordinating pre-employment background checks, drug tests, and onboarding, including I-9 completion and E-Verify
Basic understanding of state and federal employment law and record-keeping standards
Preferred Qualifications
4-year degree in Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Capital Institute (HCI) membership and participation
Experience with airlines or other transportation industry organizations
Experience with Paycom HCM
