What to expect

You will be a key member of Breather’s Product Management team, working collaboratively with other PMs, talented designers and exceptional engineers to develop products as part of our quest to discover the most valuable, usable, and feasible version of Breather. Within your first month, you will dive into the work done to date on defining the product vision and roadmap, asking critical questions and developing a strong point-of-view. From there, you will be responsible for conceiving and executing on the long-term product roadmap, while applying your passion for business, technology and user experience.

In the role, you will:

  • Spearhead product discovery at Breather by collaborating with company thought leaders to evolve the product through research and prototyping
  • Help define the high-level goals of the product org
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to evolve Breather’s product portfolio, share product trends and collaborate on streamlining product processes
  • Own the end-to-end success of projects from requirements definition through workshopping, design, development, launch and analysis
  • Evaluate complementary products and technologies for build vs. buy decisions
  • Evolve Breather’s product from marketplace to B2B

On a day-to-day, you will work closely with your teams to:

  • Ensure all roadmaps are aligned to Breather’s strategy and mission
  • Launch and iterate initiatives that have measurable positive impact
  • With your scrum master, lead recurring agile delivery ceremonies
  • Maintain a healthy product delivery backlog

Valuable experience that will help you succeed:

  • Product management experience
    • 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent, with a minimum of 2+ years of direct product management experience
    • Direct experience in one of the following areas is a plus: B2B software, information systems and integrations, operations and logistics
    • Strong belief in the importance of product/design thinking. You believe in building products, not features
  • Obsessed with user experience
    • A portfolio that demonstrates a proven ability to solve user needs to deliver on business goals
    • Your product discovery process is deeply rooted in observing user needs and creatively solving problems to improve user experience
    • Your product strategies are driven by data and user research interviews, surveys and observational methodologies
  • Collaborative leadership
    • You have a strong ability to develop focused missions and inspire teams to execute
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience working with remote stakeholders
