WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Associate Technical Partner Manager, you will play a key role in evaluating, guiding, and supporting Braze ISV Technology partners through their onboarding and development journey. You will be responsible for assessing prospective technology partners, determining which should move forward in the process, and ensuring they complete a successful integration that aligns with our best practices. You’ll guide partners – who are based worldwide – through different levels of onboarding – high-touch, low-touch, and no-touch – based on their priority, needs and engagement.

This role also includes maintaining relationships with lower tiered technology partners after they launch, ensuring their continued success while proactively preventing escalations. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support smooth integrations, answer technical questions, and maintain strong partnerships.

  • Partner Evaluation & Selection: Using our ideal partner profile matrix, independently assess prospective partners based on their technical capabilities and business alignment, deciding which to advance or decline
  • Onboarding Guidance: Provide hands-on support to high-touch partners during their integration with Braze. Offer asynchronous support to low/no-touch partners, addressing technical inquiries and guiding them through self-service onboarding
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Conduct technical reviews of partner integrations, focusing on API compatibility, data interoperability, and scalability. Identify risks and recommend solutions to ensure long-term reliability and adherence to best practices
  • Relationship Management: Post-launch, provide ongoing technical guidance to lower-tier partners, helping them optimize their solutions and minimize escalations. Includes supporting inbound support tickets from Technology partners
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders (including Product, Support, and Commercial Partnerships), ensuring technical and operational alignment

WHO YOU ARE

  • Fluent in English
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain technical concepts
  • Technical experience with at least one: Saas, Mobile, APIs, Programming
  • Ability to provide clear, concise technical guidance to partners and relay feedback to internal teams
  • Proficient in breaking down complex concepts, providing clear and concise explanations, and delivering practical, actionable advice.
  • Critical thinker with a high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements effectively with high levels of organisation, attention to detail and a focus on technical execution
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience with Braze or other MarTech solutions
    • Experience using tools such as Jira, Github and Salesforce Help Desk
