WHAT YOU'LL DO
We're looking for a seasoned program management expert with 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, involving multiple business functions and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise business systems, stakeholder management at Director/VP levels, team leadership, and driving program management best practices. We’re a data and OKR driven organization that looks for opportunities to use automation and new technologies to solve business challenges, and this Director of Business Systems Strategic Programs will be a key driver of this mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic programs aligned with company goals and OKR’s, focusing on enterprise business systems
- Lead successful execution of programs, ensuring ownership, collaboration, communication and accountability across cross-functional teams, demonstrating “leadership without authority”
- Manage stakeholder relationships at Director/VP levels, driving consensus and buy-in, facilitating prioritization, driving their strategies and portfolio roadmaps
- Establish KPIs and monitor program performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Foster a culture of program management excellence, implementing best practices
- Oversee program charter, OKR alignment, scope management, budget planning, resource allocation, and program timelines
- Drive process improvements, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains in the Strategic Programs team
- Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team of technical program managers
- Able and willing to dive deep into the details and execute key business critical programs as an individual contributor
WHO YOU ARE
- 15+ years of program management experience, with 5+ years managing teams
- Proven track record of running complex cross-functional programs at scale in a fast-growing SaaS company
- Expertise in enterprise business systems, e.g. Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Partner & Customer Communities), Outreach, Gong, DealHub, Certinia, Netsuite, Zuora, Coupa, Snowflake, Looker, Tray.io, etc., and how they integrate with each other
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and persuasion skills, with a proactive, positive, can-do attitude
- Always looking for new ways that processes and products can be improved
- Excellent stakeholder management skills (Director/VP levels)
- Strong knowledge of key business functions and processes, e.g. GTM, CPQ, QTC, CSM, PS, Support, Provisioning, Billing, Finance, Business Intelligence, etc. in a SaaS business context
- Experience driving program management best practices
- Program management certifications (e.g. Agile, PMP)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira)
- SaaS industry experience

- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $152,000 and $180,800/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $190,000 and $226,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
