WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a part of the Braze People team, the People Solutions team plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall employee experience and optimizing processes to align with business needs. The People Solutions Coordinator will provide valuable support across various People functions, ensuring accuracy and integrity from compliance to our processes, and serve as a key point of contact for employee operational questions and/or concerns. 

This role will report to the Team Lead, People Solutions, within the People Operations function, but will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Talent Acquisition, People Relations, and Learning & Development functions.

As the People Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our policies, procedures, and local laws to ensure compliance 
  • Coordinate employee criminal background checks and work authorization checks
  • Assist local People team members with employee immigration cases
  • Reviews all new hire data and ensures the integrity of all data entered. Support the onboarding process of new hires, including regional day-one new hire onboarding sessions
  • Respond to employee inquiries through our ticketing system in a timely manner to meet SLAs and/or direct them to the right teams and resources based on their needs
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize and implement process improvements
  • Assist the People team with various ad-hoc projects and day-to-day tasks
  • Maintain procedure documentation on team processes 
  • Contribute as an ambassador for our culture; help manage projects that increase engagement, motivation, development, and retention

WHO YOU ARE

You’re a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized person who is excited to join a fast-paced and scaling company! Specifically, you have:

  • 1-2 years of prior experience in an HR role
  • Extremely strong and consistent attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of work
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Strong service orientation to internal and/or external customers
  • Receptive to feedback
  • Professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
  • Robust multitasking skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all different types of personalities
  • Flexibility and creativity to improve current processes as the business scales
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to manage own workload and priorities
  • Eager to learn and grow with our People team 
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS, such as Workday (a plus)
