ABOUT THE TEAM
The Financial Systems team is at the forefront of optimizing and innovating Braze's financial applications, data management, security, and business processes. Our team is driven by a core mission of enhancing system efficiency, aiming to uncover and eliminate inefficiencies, and empowering functional teams to achieve new levels of productivity. We prioritize optimization based on end-user satisfaction, system integrity, and the agility of deployment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Financial Systems Administrator, your primary role will be to manage and enhance the Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform, NetSuite, and DealHub. Your focus will be on ensuring system integrity and prioritizing the needs of end-users, functional teams, and the business. You will collaborate with the Financial Systems Engineering Manager at Braze to deliver continuous improvements to our Financial Systems Ecosystem and associated processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Administer the Coupa P2P platform, NetSuite, and DealHub, including configuration, testing, and maintenance to align with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, procurement, accounts payable, and deal desk teams to identify and implement system enhancements and updates.
- Conduct rigorous testing in accordance with software development lifecycles and our change management policy.
- Develop and update system documentation, including architectural flowcharts, data dictionaries, dependency mappings, business requirements documents, functional design documents, user manuals, test scripts, and training materials.
- Develop and maintain system-related training materials and deliver training to end-users to promote adoption and sustained utilization.
- Assist in the development of reusable templates for the team.
- Provide audit support for SOX compliance, including report generation, documentation development, and completeness and accuracy checks.
- Stay abreast of new features and functionality in Coupa Expenses & P2P, NetSuite, and DealHub, and provide recommendations for adoption.
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong system acumen with a keen interest in understanding how systems support the larger business.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- At least one of the following:
- 4+ years of system administration experience related to corporate Expenses, Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, Contract Lifecycle Manage, or Record-to-Report.
- 3 years of experience administering Coupa, DealHub CPQ, or Netsuite.
- 2 years of experience implementing multiple instances of Coupa, DealHub CPQ, or Netsuite.
- Deep understanding of Expense, Procure-to-Pay, or Quote to Cash systems and ability to stay informed of technology changes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience implementing Coupa Procure to Pay software or DealHub CPQ software
- Experience working with Netsuite and Salesforce.
- Experience with compliance frameworks, including SOX and SSAE16 SOC.
- Experience working at a public company.
- Experience with NetSuite and the Coupa/NetSuite Integration bundle.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong Flow Diagram skills.
