WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Benefits Analyst to join our growing Benefits Team within our People Operations organization. This role will be based in the US and report into the Team Lead, Benefits. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end administration of our existing US and Canada benefits programs. as well as partnering to get new locations up and running as we continue to expand our rapidly-growing, global team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as AMER benefits liaison, responding to inquiries from employees, managers, and the People Team. 
  • Partner with our vendors, brokers, and cross-functional teams including Payroll, HRIS, People Team, Legal, Procurement, IT Security and Finance to ensure smooth operation of our benefit programs in the US and Canada. 
  • Assist with compliance efforts related to employee benefits, including ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Support the preparation and filing of required benefits-related reports, such as Form 5500 and ACA filings.
  • Identify, assess, and analyze gaps and deficiencies in our current offerings and administration processes, and make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Develop and execute communication plans for program launches or changes including events, email campaigns and managing content on our benefit portals
  • Work closely with the HRIS team to manage the Workday benefits module. 
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
  • Collaborate with Team Lead and consultants/brokers to conduct benchmark analysis to identify trends in industry and competitors to provide competitive and cutting edge benefits on a global basis.
  • Complete regular audits to ensure employee benefit coverage and payroll deductions are accurate. 
  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires to explain available benefits options and enrollment procedures.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who has previous benefits experience, with a passion for customer service, and knows their way around a spreadsheet.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-5 years US benefits administration and analysis, preferably experience working for a US based multinational company
  • Ability to remain organized and work on multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Intermediate / advanced proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets, including pivot tables, basic calculations, VLOOKUPs, and compiling, organizing and analyzing multiple data sets. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to problem solve. 
  • Bonus points for experience administering leave of absence programs.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $72,000 and $83,700/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $80,000 and $93,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
