Job: Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Additionally, this role will also involve commodity management and contract lifecycle management to ensure compliance and maximize value from service and material supplier agreements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from creation to renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract management. 

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
  • [5] years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, commodity management, or contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management processes and software (ContractPod preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems (SAP Required, Coupa Preferred).
  • Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or contract management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, CPCM) is a plus.
