What you’ll do:

The Director of Supply Chain sets the vision for designing, implementing and managing the day-to-day operations and developing the strategies for Transportation, QA, Warehousing & Fulfillment, Procurement and Customer Service to allow Brandless to grow and expand rapidly.  The Director of Supply Chain will own the P&L and drive towards financial goals that will enable profitable growth.  Member of the corporate leadership team responsible for providing supply chain vision to support Brandless’ growth and customer strategies.

You’ll Create Impact By:

  • Development and implementation of key processes needed to scale up for rapid growth including, but not limited to:

    • Hire, manage and develop a high-performing Operations organization able to support 50+% year-to-year growth

    • Define metrics for 3PL partners and drive performance to improve customer experience and drive towards long-term cost structure

    • Develop and execute a transportation strategy to reduce cost while optimizing for customer time from order to delivery

    • Manage cross-functional design teams of senior managers for several large corporate-wide projects including Logistic Shipment Tracking, WMS, and Order Management as well as system upgrades and integration efforts

    • Establish strong cross-functional relationships with internal business partners (Merchandising, Technology, Finance, Data Science, and Marketing)

  • Effectively manage new product and category rollouts and maintain service levels to our expanding customer base

  • Design technology solution that can support the exponential growth for Brandless and the supply chain organization

 

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years eCommerce and grocery/food Supply Chain direct to consumer experience is required

  • Expertise with generally accepted food safety practices is critical

  • 10+ years as a subject matter experience in supply chain systems and technology. Will be required to partner with Technology to build future state systems for Brandless

  • Proven track record managing and driving performance of 3PLs in a high growth environment

  • Deep metrics and data-driven approach to managing performance and decisions

  • Successful experience designing, hiring, and developing high-performance teams from small to large scale organizations across disciplines and locations
