Administer the invoice processing function within bill.com. Liaise with business partners to provide timely guidance regarding invoice submission. Assist in enhancing the accounts payable process as we grow.
The position reports directly to the Controller. The role is critical and requires attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills in performance of the duties.
This is a part-time role, between 20-25 hours a week.
You’ll Create Impact By:
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Reporting sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
Verifying employee expense reports to supporting documentation
Maintaining electronic filing system for invoices.
Protecting Brandless’ value by keeping information confidential.
What you’ll need:
2+ years AP experience ideally in a high growth company.
Bachelor degree preferred in in a related field desirable.
Excellent attention to detail, self-directed, organized and business curious.
