About the Team:

The Marketing team scales our brands efficiently combining creative with data analytics, managing all marketing channels to drive brand growth. They continually build & execute a 360 marketing plan for both marketplace brands and direct-to-consumer brands.

About the Role

As the Communications Specialist, you are responsible for enhancing brand awareness and the positive perception of the brands you represent. Our main categories include Home & Kitchen, Men's Care, and Cleaning Products. 

You will collaborate with our team and independent agencies globally to develop our PR and brand marketing campaigns. Ideally, you are experienced in fast-growing e-commerce companies. You will be part of the Brand Marketing team.

What you will do:

PR/Communications

  • Develop, manage, and maintain a comprehensive PR asset library to be used by agencies and independent contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to align on PR strategies with overall brand objectives.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR initiatives and partner collaborations, and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Manage cross-channel marketing campaigns to ensure that the brand message is well-aligned across various channels. This includes advertising, CRM, DTC (Direct-to-Consumer), and social media platforms.

Partnerships

  • Identify and engage with potential partners, including experts and B2B entities, to enhance brand awareness.
  • Conduct outreach to potential partners, negotiating terms to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships.

Copywriting 

  • Write original copy and edit content for social media and press-releases
  • Collaborate across different departments from concept development to delivery of final copy.
  • Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the brand, platform, and audience.

Who you are:

  • With about 5 years of experience in communications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with partners, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • With a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
