About the Team:
The Finance team strategically plans for BRANDED’s future by managing all levels of financial decisions and ensuring our platform can create value in a sustainable way.
About the Role
As a Junior Stock Analyst, you will be responsible for managing inventory data in NetSuite, including tracking stock levels, analyzing trends, and making recommendations for improving inventory management. Ensuring that the system is an accurate and true representation of the our stock position, you will become the go to person between supply chain and finance, helping fill the data/knowledge gap from both sides.
Joining a global team of like minded people, with a can do, entrepreneurial, approach to their work, you can create processes and data flows which can immediately impact and benefit the day to day running of the business.
What you will do
- Using accounting software (NetSuite) to generate reports and analyzing inventory reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
- Assisting with the month-end process by posting and reporting financial data.
- Managing the product cost matrix and analyzing margins to ensure profitability.
- Collaborating closely with department managers to optimize financial outcomes, such as product profitability.
- Participating in the implementation, design, and maintenance of inventory and purchasing systems using Netsuite
- Supporting the Accounts Payable Department with stock-related queries and driving process improvements
- Working with other departments to find effective and efficient solutions to any stock-related issues.
- Helping to prepare files and implement new processes to track stock accurately.
- Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Department.
Who you are
- You have a degree on Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
- You are fluent in English
- You have 1 year experience in any finance role (Preferred)
- You have good knowledge of excel and other computer applications
- You have an interest in learning about stock accounting, reconciliations, bookkeeping, accruals etc.
- You are detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills
- You have excellent communication skills, able to interact with other departments
- You have a strong, hands-on and open-minded personality
