Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Engineer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in building and maintaining large-scale applications.
  • Experience with test-driven development and enhancing test suites.
  • Familiarity with micro services architecture and best practices.
  • Proficiency in system monitoring and uptime management.
  • eCommerce experience (a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Ruby on Rails Engineer ready to take on a challenging role in a premier software technology partner? If you're passionate about building scalable applications, breaking up monoliths into services, and ensuring system uptime, we want you to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Legacy Application Takeover: Lead the charge in taking over a substantial Rails application that forms the backbone of a digital health company, ensuring its continued functionality and scalability.
  • Test Suite Enhancement: Strengthen and expand the test suite for the application to ensure robustness and reliability.
  • Microservices Architecture: Drive the process of breaking up the monolithic architecture into micro services, optimizing the system for scalability and maintainability.
  • System Monitoring: Implement effective monitoring solutions to ensure system uptime and performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
  • eCommerce Expertise (a plus): If you have experience in the eCommerce sector, your insights and skills will be highly valuable in enhancing our offerings.
