What You’ll Do

As a Cloud Architect, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team.  We seek a highly skilled Cloud Architect with extensive experience implementing design patterns, functional programming, and object-oriented programming. The ideal candidate will be a team player who has architected and developed a hybrid end-to-end data platform with a proven track record of working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

What you’ll be working on

You’ll get to:  

  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients using design patterns, functional programming, and object-oriented programming.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and stakeholders, to develop hybrid end-to-end data platforms.

  • Ensure system extensibility, performance tuning, and agility to ensure speed of development with agility.

  • Drive and maintain strong software engineering practice, including code quality, version control, and system integration.

  • Build scalable no-SQL-based ecosystems for complex data processing.

  • Develop IoT-based ecosystem and SDK development to help clients interact with our products easily.

  • Identify and implement new technologies and approaches to improve our software development processes and procedures.

  • Design and drive implementation for scalable analytical reporting platform with multifaced access methods.

  • Extensive experience implementing design patterns, functional programming, and object-oriented programming in cloud architecture.

  • Experience designing systems with an eye on performance, cost, and application scale.

  • Familiarity with designing systems in ambiguous environments.

  • Proven experience developing hybrid end-to-end data platforms in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

  • Strong knowledge of no-SQL-based ecosystems like Hadoop, Cassandra, and Apache Spark.

  • Experience in developing IoT-based ecosystems and SDK development.

  • Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, including performance tuning and system extensibility.

  • Experience in implementing customer-facing reporting tools focused for performance

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Experience in developing complex reporting, and analytical systems with scalability

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
