We are a small and nimble team, so you’ll likely get to experience and participate on many projects. However, you should broadly expect the following set of responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, hardware engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of product features.
  • Navigate complex problems and determine resolutions against current processes and direction based on software product understanding and expertise.


Your Professional Experience

As an ideal candidate you would have following key qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience of building and maintaining large scale ETL pipelines and in-depth knowledge of big data frameworks and architectures including Spark, Hadoop/MapReduce, Airflow,  Streaming (Kafka or similar message bus).
  • A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing, and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on cloud Data Warehouse such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift is a must.
  • Lead cross-functional technical discussions that drive decisions and actionable implementation approaches.
  • Perform POCs on new technology, architecture patterns.
  • Excellent SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with the ability to create efficient data models (applied to data warehousing in particular)
  • Experience with automating end to end data lifecycle on the big data ecosystem.
  • Experience with managing automated schema evolution within data pipelines.
  • Prior experience with connected devices/IoT-based applications , Construction Tech is a plus.
  • Experience in leading & mentoring junior team members
