What you’ll be working on
As an EWM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our warehouse operations, inventory management, and quality assurance processes. We are open to candidates with expertise in one or both of the following areas of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM): Warehouse Operations and Quality Assurance, and Automation and Integration.
Responsibilities:
1. EWM - Warehouse Operations and Quality Assurance:
- Utilize your extensive experience in EWM, inventory management, and quality assurance to streamline warehouse processes and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.
- Lead quality assurance efforts, ensuring products meet established standards and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement strategies to reduce discrepancies.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on EWM processes and quality control procedures.
Inventory experience:
- Cycle counts
- Following processes in place along with quality hold vs non hold
- Knows SAP along with EWM as both are required for inventory functions
- Adjustments
- PI documents
- Rac Codes
- Reporting such as aging
- Discrepancy reporting
- Inbound discrepancies (Z999)
Quality experience:
- Inspections
- Trace
- Hold
2. EWM - Automation and Integration:
- Leverage your strong background in EWM configuration and system building to design, configure, and maintain EWM solutions that align with business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the IT team to integrate EWM with third-party solutions, enabling seamless communication and data exchange.
- Develop automated processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy within the warehouse operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues, working in coordination with external partners as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in EWM and automation, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our operations.
