THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

The candidate should be able to:
- Research, plan and develop user flows for web platforms (including custom web design AND integrating third party applications in custom web design)

- Design, prototype and test user experiences for web platforms

- Design rich and engaging style guides that include typography, moodboards, colour palettes and custom assets

- Have a strong command of graphics design and experience making posters, print materials thumbnails and editing photography 

- Design user interfaces using Figma

- Fluency in desktop publishing tools from the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

- Illustration skills would be a bonus

- Design user interfaces and visual interactions using custom HTML/CSS/JS and Webflow

- Plan, develop and maintain design systems in Figma, Webflow and any other component library bundler such as Storybook. 

- Build a framework for testing and maintaining live user interfaces

- Analyse user engagement using tools such as Google Analytics and/or Mixpanel

What you’ll be working on

We are a growing media production house that is looking for an in-house designer, to start half-time initially, who would take on the responsibility as Design Lead. 

They would be responsible for all aspects of design in the organisation with a strong focus on web design, including interfaces and experience.
