THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge in Web3

  • Built a successful b2c app

  • Hands-on experience with the concepts, products, and services that are driving web3 with a particular focus on DeFi including but not limited to coin generation events, tokenomics, decentralization, wallets, bridges, cryptography, DEXes, identity management, fraud management, and regulatory compliance ( preferred but not necessary)

  • Experience making build vs. partner decisions in the context of a product strategy

  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication and a track record influencing technical and non-technical staff

  • Experience managing high-performing teams

 

What you’ll be working on

The company is seeking an experienced product leader to develop its web3 product vision, strategy, and roadmap. The Head of Product will leverage their consumer-first expertise in trust-minimized, permissionless, decentralized protocols on the blockchain to develop the case for the capabilities which should be developed, drive overall vision and product strategy, and gain leadership buy-in and investment for new capabilities.

 

In this role you will:

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the company’s web3 products including protocols, blockchains, wallets, and bridges

  • Design products that are simple and intuitive for mass consumers, utilizing a background in UX/UI to deliver a consumer-centric product

  • Develop a deep understanding of all stakeholders - data providers, data consumers, developers, validators, nominators, enthusiasts, and other community members - and how to incentivize growth of a flywheel among them

  • Write requirements that work backwards from audience needs and maintain a clinical focus on delivering exponential value for all stakeholders

  • Partner effectively with other leaders internally to influence priorities and drive alignment

  • Source and evaluate external partners who can help accelerate growth of the protocol

  • Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates
