THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·       Degree in computer science, application development, management information systems or equivalent

·       3-5 years of experience creating and maintaining build tools and pipelines (e.g. Jenkins or equivalent)

·       3-5 years of experience using AWS core services, including S3 buckets, EC2, IAM

·       3-5 years of Linux system administration experience

- 1-3 years Azure experience

- Experience operating as the lead/architect for environments.

·       1+ years of experience maintaining and administering Kuberenetes clusters

·       Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and deployment techniques

·       Proficiency with integrating Git actions into build pipelines

Desired Experience:

·       Experience using Helm to deploy to Kubernetes

·       Experience using AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline

·       Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Patterns

·       Professional communications skills both written and verbal

rhino.ai has the vision to reduce the time taken to modernize application development. Working with many key PaaS and SaaS vendors we provide our clients with an innovative solution to their digital modernization challenges.

The Work:

Our DevOps Engineer will work on a wide variety of different programs to support diverse customer mission areas.  We work with clients from the commercial and Federal space to understand and modernize their legacy applications by migrating them to modern/new platforms.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and follow rhino.ai coding standards.

·       Work with Developers, Architects, and Engineers to understand needs and design tools and solutions that meet those needs.

·       Maintain deployed environments and troubleshoot issues

·       Integrate tools and automate workflows to enhance operational efficiency and stability

·       Stay up to date on assigned specialties, work on expanding to others.

·       This role will interact with coworkers at all levels.

·       Demonstrate a desire to learn and accept new challenges within / outside core skills

·       Bring new ideas, tools, solutions, and techniques to the group.

·       Use analytical thinking to make decisions based on facts and metrics whenever possible
