What you’ll be working on

About the job:

Versus Game is a prediction game where you get paid for being right. We are looking for a React
frontend engineer to help build cross-platform web and mobile applications. You will be working
with an experienced global cross-functional team to build and launch awesome user experiences
for the players as well as the creators hosting the games. We are looking for mobile-first front-
end engineers with a strong acumen for producing exceptional user experience. Experience with
streaming, caching, and managing large amounts of images and videos is a big plus!

 

Requirements

  • Typescript, Javascript, and React expert - 7+ years of experience in front-end development, incl. 5+ years with Javascript and TypeScript and 4+ years of experience with ReactJs
  • Experience with TailwindCSS
  • Proficient in integration with RESTful services
  • Familiarity with Node.js a plus
  • Expert at building screens to match designs and building workflows.
  • Expert at state management within React Native apps.
  • Able to independently perform development tasks quickly based on designs and specs.
  • Experience developing highly engaging mobile apps including animations.
  • Experience collaborating with onshore/offshore resources.
  • Fully capable of collaborating with designers and back-end engineers to deliver immersive native experiences.
  • Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
  • Self-starter who is communication and outcomes-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
