THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

This 6-month project will require you to work on orders, financial, and inventory integrations/workflows across various D2C platforms. You will support the financial and distribution teams in inventory forecasting and order reconciliation, as well as contribute your integration proficiency to our innovative New Business Models team.

REQUIREMENTS 

-At least 3 years of experience as a technical business analyst, with a strong track record of  eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements.

-Proficiency in Agile/Lean methodologies with a minimum of 3 years' experience.

-Over 3 years of experience in test planning, test case development, and execution.

Nice to have

Proficiency in NetSuite, SAP, or related technology is a plus.

Preferred: Experience with e-commerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, or similar tools.

Preferred: Familiarity with Visio, Jira, DevOps, and Confluence.

 

What you’ll be working on

Project Deliverables:

Inventory Management and Reconciliation

  • Regularly reconcile inventory (weekly or as needed). 
  • Align inventory records in NetSuite with those of our distribution center. 
  • Implement inventory adjustments to rectify discrepancies. 
  • Collaborate in forecasting meetings. 
  • Generate purchase orders to facilitate inventory procurement from SAP to NetSuite.
  • Temporarily handle manual inventory receipt until system integration is complete. 

Order Reconciliation and Processing 

  • Perform order reconciliation (weekly or as needed, especially at month-end).
  • Compare order and refund data across multiple platforms with NetSuite records.
  • Daily reconciliation of orders between Adobe Commerce and SAP, ensuring timely issue  resolution. 
  • Timely reconciliation safeguards against expiring credit card authorizations and  provides developers ample time for intervention. 

Financial Support

  • Provide ad hoc support to the financial team, particularly at month-end. 
  • Be readily available to address discrepancies within PowerBI reports. 
  • Configure and set up materials in NetSuite to ensure smooth operations. 

Collaborative Project Involvement

  • Engage with senior product owners, lead developers, and the leadership team.
  • Take ownership of epics and prioritize issues across multiple DTC product workstreams.
  • Report operational concerns and propose solutions to key stakeholders and partners.
  • Create detailed functional and technical specifications, and validate new integrations and  frontend features. 
  • Offer support for integration issues, conducting root cause analysis.
  • Develop optimization strategies for sustaining processes, improving system efficiency, and  enhancing critical business KPIs. 
  • Conduct financial and data validation across Purina DTC systems technology and supported  products, including resource management and bank reconciliation. 
  • Leverage any ERP/OMS expertise to bolster Purina DTC systems and collaborate with Scrum  teams on related ERP/OMS integration tickets. 
  • Evaluate and implement changes in our D2C ERP/OMS, such as configurations, workflows,  forms, roles, and saved searches. 
  • Assist in prioritizing the backlog in DTC Integrations.
