Quantitative Research is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive suite of analytical tools used to evaluate a broad range of fixed income securities traded by the firm.  Members of the Quantitative Research team have a direct impact on the firm’s bottom line by developing sophisticated models that are used by the Portfolio Managers to identify investment opportunities and understand risk exposures of the firm’s positions in various states of the world.

As a Quantitative Analyst Intern, you will be challenged with a demanding project chosen by a senior member of the Quantitative Research Group that is commensurate with your level of knowledge and experience in software design, financial mathematics, economics and statistics. This project will require making changes and additions to our existing C++ code base using Visual Studio development environment. You will also gain a better understanding about other areas of the firm such as Trading and Risk Management.

Required Skills and Credentials:

  • Graduate students with top academic credentials who are pursuing a degree in Computational Finance or another quantitative discipline
  • Strong math, analytical and programming skills
  • Proficient in C++
  • Knowledge of fixed income securities
  • An interest in pursuing a career in quantitative finance upon graduation
