Commercial Account Executive

 

We are in the early stages of entering the Asian and Japan market. 

Our innovative approach to cloud content management has allowed individuals and businesses to revolutionize how they share, manage, and access documents, media, and other critical business information. We have grown at a record speed over the past few years and we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Account Executive to help us evangelize Box as a member of our team. In this full-time role you will be -- as part of the Japan Sales team -- responsible for creating, developing, managing, and closing upsells, cross-sells, and net new line of business deals.  You will be part of a team-selling model.  Creative, energetic and self-driven, you understand the sales process and the buying cycle and know what you can do to build sales trust and match use cases to the right Box service offering. You also love understanding a product in depth and then communicating that product to the marketplace. If you love working with prospects, clients, and sales people, then we want to talk to you.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Documenting various qualification details including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps
  • Understanding stakeholder(including resell partners) needs and effectively communicating how Box will meet them  
  • Present a thorough territory plan within first 90 days 
  • Meet with CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, and other key stakeholders 
  • Close both net new accounts and existing accounts 
  • Area management through Partners, also hiring new area Partners and managing them
  • Identify and close quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles 
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets 
  • Track all customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce 
  • Utilize a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers 
  • Evangelize Cloud Content Management, Enterprise 2.0, and the Box model 
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers 
  • Prioritize opportunities and applying appropriate resources
  • Using SalesForce.com for lead management and sales forecasting 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year degree required 
  • Business Level English capability is required
  • 5-7 years experience in Enterprise Software sales 
  • 5 years prior successful sales in ECM, Cloud, or SaaS Extensive prior customer relationships with CIOs 
  • Having experience with Tele/Inside sales team is preferred
  • Ability to simply articulate intricate cloud technologies 
  • Proven successful track record of exceeding sales quotas 
  • Success closing net new accounts while working existing accounts 
  • Experience selling ECM/SaaS/Cloud technologies to both lines of business and IT leaders 
  • Technically adept, understanding of software
  • Must be a Box user
  • Passion for cloud technologies
