WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

Large Language Models are changing the way businesses operate, and Box is bringing AI capabilities to content management. With the launch of Box AI, customers want more advanced ways to customize how it works in their enterprise. The new AI Studio initiative at Box is crucial for company growth as it enables customers to tailor their Box AI experience. This work will be pivotal for Box's expansion in the AI space and a key revenue driver. We need an experienced product owner to lead the team building AI Studio – this role has a significant impact and requires both technical expertise and operational experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Design and build a customer-facing tool that allows customers to customize and tailor their Box AI experience to their needs

  • Think deeply about the future of how we apply Generative AI to content and help customers unlock the potential

  • Create a compelling roadmap for AI Studio, aligned with internal stakeholder and customer requirements

  • Work with the AI Platform team to develop new Generative AI capabilities and features

  • Measure results and iterate on features with a keen eye towards driving metrics that matter 

  • Operate at both strategic and operational levels to create an impact

  • Interact with Box customers to understand their challenges, discuss solutions, validate and iterate on models

  • Support the creation of product marketing materials, blog posts, and other content that highlights the technical thought leadership of Box

  • Work effectively as part of a geographically distributed team

WHO YOU ARE 

  • You are a creator, evangelist, and product manager, defining our story and laying out the infrastructure to power internal and external teams

  • You have a track record of delivering Software as a Service and/or cloud platform products at scale

  • You love getting into the nitty-gritty details of technical infrastructure and solving for both customer value and cost

  • You have solid experience in creating simple and compelling UIs for customers

  • You are passionate about Generative AI, stay up to date on industry trends, and love to experiment with new Generative AI features and capabilities

  • You understand the business and the analytics/metrics that drive success for platform and SaaS products. 

  • You have an innate curiosity and willingness to dive deep into product architecture

Minimum qualifications

  • 4+ years experience as a product manager or related position, where you've built and launched products with highly cross-functional teams

  • Proven track record of building and delivering compelling customer-facing UX/UI

  • A technical degree and/or relevant background (CS, EE, ML/AI, Search, etc.) is preferred; however we welcome applicants with diverse educational experiences

  • Strong bias for action and an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Solid understanding of customer needs and experience acting as a customer advocate

  • Experience of building SaaS products, especially information security, content intelligence, or user behavior analytics, is a plus
