As an Supply Chain Planning & Analytics Manager, you will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering all Box's capacity demands in the right places and on time. You will coordinate across Technical Operations teams to drive the supply chain from procurement, integration, installation, configuration, provisioning and Kube/OpenStack cloud expansion. By developing a strong working relationships, you will help teams problem solve, remove blockers and improve/streamline the supply chain process.

Job Duties
  • Develop supply chain and inventory models, forecasts, and execution plans based on demand forecasts, historical trends, current inventory and safety stock position along with other market related factors.
  • Manage component, vendor, integration, and internal delivery team lead times
  • Manage vendors and operations teams in executing the supply forecast. Develop proactive mitigations for changes in demand signals and/or supply chain issues 
  • Develop supply chain KPIs and executive reports, and manage to them (turns; forecast accuracy; days of supply, etc)
  • Automate and improve Supply Chain planning and management models, processes, and tools
Who you are:
  • 5+ years of progressive supply chain planning/analytics experience.
  • 8+ years of work experience overall
  • Exceptional Excel data modeling, presentation, and ad-hoc analysis skills
  • Excellent analytics and forecasting skills in at least one programming language (R, Python, etc)
  • Some experience with automation - spreadsheet and programmatic
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, able to effectively communicate with both peers and executives
  • Comfortable leading with ambiguity and rapidly shifting business conditions
Nice to have:
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts: Capex, Depreciation, etc
  • Some coding or scripting experience
  • Experience with servers, virtualized infrastructure, and/or data centers
