The marketing team is dedicated to acquiring, on-boarding, monetizing, and retaining Box's customers. We are a highly cross-functional and high velocity team working to scale Box's SMB business. We place a high emphasis on automation, predictive analytics, and scalable programs to efficiently and effectively serve 80% of Box's customers.
We are looking for a product marketer who is hardworking, strategic, and customer-obsessed to join our Online Sales team, focusing on SMB customers and how they can see the most value in Box. As the Marketing lead for the SMB business, you will:
Build marketing strategy and execute digital marketing programs (webinars, paid media, social, etc.) to drive awareness and business growth within the Enterprise SMB segment.
Drive market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the voice of the market internally with the rest of the team.
Effectively use segmentation and targeting to optimize insights-based messaging for the right channel, target, use case and business goal (acquisition, cross-sell, expansion, retention) for Box's SMB business across the customer lifecycle.
Partner with Sales and other marketing functions to plan and execute GTM projects, and support initiatives to drive demand generation.
Develop an understanding of market opportunity, customer segments, competitors, and offerings to develop the business case and value propositions for Box to SMBs
Lead the strategy and execution for Email Marketing to SMBs, generating a thoughtful and cohesive approach to how Box communicate with SMB prospects and customers
Partner with marketing operations & sales to run the lead funnel from end to end.
Generate performance reports and constantly iterate on program improvement through data analytics
Excellent at planning and project management – ability to look ahead to meet regular deadlines and predict and prevent last minute fire drills.
5+ years of relevant experience with focus on B2B
Previous experience in enterprise SaaS is preferred
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
Experience with SMB customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
Proven ability to execute successful marketing plans that are creative and highly analytical
Passion for cross-functional collaboration and comfort in the spotlight of high-visibility initiatives
Highly-proactive, self-starter capable of effectively running several projects and prioritizing accordingly
