We are currently expanding our Data Center Operation team and are looking for Data Center Operator with experience in operating enterprise production Data Center, good technical understanding and the drive and vision to take Box Data Center Operations to the next level.

Who you are
Qualifications: Requires 5+ years in operating a technical environment with working knowledge of Data Centers. You have excellent team social and planning skills, as well as stringent time management ability to balance dynamic workloads in a complex environment.

5 Years working background in IT related Field
Manage Work and Priorities through ticketing system
Project management of complex projects
Perform hardware troubleshooting and component replacement
Generate standard operation procedure
Exhibits good communications and writing skills
Must be capable of lifting 75lb
Good understanding of storage devices
Familiarity of of Linux and Network
Experience in cycle count and spares management
Experience with racking, stacking, and cabling
Experience working in a production data center
Experience on Hardware Concepts:
- X86 Architecture
Network Protocols (OSI Model)
Copper/Fiber Optics – Testing and installation standards
Understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC
Must be willing to travel in country and international
Maintain physical site location to provide clean operating environment
Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after hours support as needed
Monitor cost of repair and technician efficiency and supply corrective action as necessary to management
Assist with co-location capacity and growth planning as well as rack and server layouts
5+ Data Center experience with hands on experience in supporting multi-vendor hardware platforms.
Technical writing experience
Manage parts inventory and stock levels is a plus
Network+, Server+, Linux+, A+, CDCTP certifications preferred
Basic scripting skills in at least one programming language. (Bash, Perl, Python)
An excellent understanding of the Mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations include but not limited to CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical system, heat exchangers, piping systems, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, dampers.
