Box is seeking a Redwood City-based Group Event Marketing Manager who will be responsible for industry event programs. In this role, you will develop and drive high touch event programs that generate quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle, and build customer intimacy. This position is accountable for aligning quarterly plans with campaign goals, sales objectives and measuring those plans to maximize revenue potential within established budget requirements.
Oversee national industry events programs
Ability to manage teams effectively across remote locations
Expertise in working with tradeshows to produce experiences that engage the attendees and position Box to drive demand
Create programming with clear outlines for audience acquisition and campaign development to move customers thru the discovery and buying cycle
Must have working knowledge of demand generation techniques and ability to craft appropriate engagement plans
Tracking program results, measuring program success, and reporting metrics via SFDC
Working cross-functional across all marketing departments from product marketing to channel marketing teams to implement joint field events
10+ years of enterprise event marketing experience, with industry event marketing or event based field marketing background.
Deep expertise in industry event production
Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales teams
Experience with developing integrated, multi-touch marketing plans as well as working knowledge of sales and marketing automation systems particularly Salesforce and Marketo
Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical with above average oral and written communication skills
