The Role
The team in Zurich develops and hosts financial messaging software for inter-bank payments. The software is mainly written in .NET but includes a lot of XML definitions (XSD) and XML processing (XSLT). The small team is working on a wide area of different tasks. Depending on the skills the new team member can take over tasks and responsibilities that fit best to him. The tasks include the following areas:
.NET development for Web-Client, Webserver and Windows-Services
Maintaining XML definitions and validation of financial messages
Testing and documenting software enhancements
Build knowledge about SWIFT and SIC services (by joining webinars)
Working with SQL-Databases (MS-SQL-Server/Oracle)
2-nd level support for our customers

What will make you successful:
Strong knowledge about XML, XSD, XSLT
Strong knowledge of software languages (preferable .NET)
Quality-oriented programming
Ability to read, write and understand technical documentation
Motivation to learn something new
Motivation to take responsibility and act as an owner
Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment
Work under time constraints
Strong analytical skills
Good communication skills
To be methodical and well organised
A high orientation towards client service and quality
Knowledge of banking environment would be an advantage (but will bepart of a training)
