The Role
The VP, Strategic & Enterprise Vendor Sales is responsible for driving overall success and growth of the Paymode-X Strategic and Enterprise Sales teams which carry the largest yearly bookings quotas. In this role you will lead and inspire both frontline managers as well as individual contributors of the teams responsible for enrolling our highest value Vendors, ensuring that they achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance metrics. In this role you will be responsible for the success of our high spend value selling motion.
How you will contribute:
- Responsible for consistent attainment of team quota objectives
- Possess the ability to lead and inspire team members to achieve sales objectives
- Able to lead people over, around, or through obstacles to individual and team performance
- Act as an expert at pipeline management, with the ability to drive revenue through execution of value sales model
- Strong ability to to manage and forecast against deal pipeline
- Be a subject matter expert for the Paymode-X solution, expertly positioning value for the Vendor community and mastering the process of overcoming objections.
- Strong multi-level coaching ability to assist both front line managers and individual sales reps to improve performance and assist with career growth
- Coaching frontline managers and team leads on best practices for rep development, and partner with frontline managers on development plans for each team member
- Manage overall tech stack in support of sales team requirements, and responsible for driving adoption of sales technologies and methodologies
- Ability to present both in person and virtually to perspective customers and partners
- Ability to maintain command of your message and achieve objectives in group settings both externally with customers and with internal stakeholders
- Foster and maintain strong partnerships with other key internal teams; Account Management, Customer Success, Sales Ops, etc.
If you have the attributes, skills, and experience listed below, we want to hear from you:
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years of sales leadership
- Industry experience in Payments/ Receivables preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
