Our Position:

Bottomline Technologies is seeking an Associate Technical Project Manager to join our Legal Spend Management (LSM) group!

At Bottomline, we create solutions that help businesses pay, and get paid through engagement and innovation.  Our Technical Project Manager will report directly to the VP of Development, working closely with the Release Manager and Cloud Engineering Manager.  They will be a driving force in the delivery of the internal DevOps project roadmap!

This role can be based out of our Portsmouth, NH headquarters, or our Wilton, CT office

What you will do:

  • Work with DevOps leads to help complete defined project plans and deliverables
  • Create and organize all reporting matrices, PowerPoints, and project tracking plans for impacted applications; report out and communicate on the project statuses to upper management
  • Develop and deliver all project-related activities including, but not limited to: planning, status reporting, schedules, resource tracking, backlog management, risk tracking and proposal development
  • Manger inter-team activities and ensure on-time project deliverables
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical resources
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, daily meetings, sprint/release planning and other Agile/Scrum related meetings
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress, while maintaining process documentation
  • Employ a knowledge of DevOps tools, concepts and methodologies

You should have:

  • Technical project management experience is ideal; strong knowledge and background with project management methodologies and practices
  • A knowledge of Agile methodologies and a knowledge of the deliverables associated with a formal SDLC
  • Technical proficiency with SharePoint, the MS Office Suite, MS Project/Visio and the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Ability to write business and/or technical documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology and/or equivalent training/experience
