Position Description
Boosted.ai is looking for a highly motivated, results oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our rapidly growing sales team. As a member of our sales team, your primary responsibility will be generating and qualifying leads for new business through a series of outbound, inbound, and strategic channel development initiatives. BDR will introduce those qualified sales opportunities and schedule meetings for Boosted.ai’s Sales Account Executives.
The successful candidate will be required to identify, research, and originate new revenue opportunities, triage new inbound activity, and generate sales qualified leads. They will be responsible for conducting initial meetings with Financial Services Executives and Portfolio Managers to understand their investment process, technology needs, goals and to drive new business towards the achievement of their weekly/monthly/quarterly quotas for sales qualified opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Become an Expert on Boosted.ai and our clients
- Know what we do, who we sell to, and why they buy from us
- Learn and master use of and demonstration skills for Boosted.ai
- Understand the business drivers and be confident in delivering value statements to prospective clients within asset management, wealth management, investor relations groups, and global banks
- Become an Expert on Boosted.ai Sales Process
- Know and contribute to the success of the entire client lifecycle from prospecting to renewal
- Be an expert on CRM data, workflows,and reporting
- Know and contribute to sales cycle efficiency and enablement
- Master the continuously evolving competitive landscape
- Provide monthly internal updates on research and findings of competition
- Provide understanding of competitive differentiators for Boosted.ai
- Identify any threats presented, and counter objections to them
- Identify and Prospect to Generate New Business Opportunities for Boosted.ai
- Identify prospects for any given market vertical
- Identify channel selling opportunities to cover swaths of clients vs individual opportunities
- Curate Call lists
- Define, create, and execute on outreach strategies
- Achieve monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) Quota
- Qualify Inbound and Outbound Business Opportunities and pass to Sales/AE to work and close
- Respond to 100% of inbound leads and responses to outbound prospecting by EOB daily
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications as needed to create a new business opportunity
- Engage with prospects to perform qualification level discovery and present initial conceptual use case and associated value proposition
- Sales Opportunity Documentation
- Utilize CRM to capture all information on Contacts, Companies, and Deals
- Manage/update existing CRM data and add newly identified companies/contacts
- Maintain and update Deal status to accurately reflect opportunity, value, potential close date, and deal status
- Sales Enablement & Sales/Account Executive Support
- Maintain ongoing relationships with supported Sales Reps / AE
- Be present, engage, and contribute to internal meetings and idea sharing
- Perform regular process and workflow analysis to optimize GTM motions for BDR
- Prepare and present ongoing updates and reports of BDR business to internal stakeholders.
- Implement best practices in BDR operations to streamline workflows and create efficiencies in new business generation
Who You Are (Skills and Attributes):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
- Degree (or MBA) in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience (2+ years) in Sales, Marketing, Sales/Business Development or a similar roles in an early-stage growth company is preferred
- Experience and/or interest in AI/machine learning and financial modeling is preferred
- Proficient with G-Suite, Gmail, Calendar, G-Drive, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot and LinkedIn
- Experience working with or selling into Financial Sector is a plus
- Strong interest in fintech and AI
- An understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes in AI is a plus
