The Role

Bobsled is looking to scale its sales organization and is seeking an Account Executive who is self-motivated, customer-focused, resilient and passionate about data. You will have the opportunity to work for a well-funded, high-growth SaaS company and lay the foundation for the sales team while building a pipeline, working active deals and managing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities 
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations articulating the data provider workflow, overview of the product and value proposition of Bobsled
  • Oversee the entire customer lifecycle while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including solutions engineering, product, marketing and legal
  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future data product roadmap to expand Bobsled’s usage
  • Ongoing account management to work with current customers to drive consumption and expansion of business 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative in order to make things happen, constantly experiment and iterate, and uphold the values of Bobsled

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS space, experience within cloud providers, data platforms or data management tooling preferred 
  • A track record of success in prospecting, selling and managing SaaS subscriptions into net new companies
  • Ability and comfort with negotiating and closing legal agreements with customers and supporting new customers throughout our onboarding process
  • Familiarity with land-and-expand selling, experience getting a lightweight proof-of-concept approved and then growing it into a meaningful commercial relationship
  • Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Understanding of data provider ecosystem and the various data delivery mechanisms (FTPs, APIs and cloud-based data sharing protocols)
