The Tournament Operations Assistant duties are as follows:
Course setup, including painting, tee setup, yardage verification, determine hole locations
Day of the event includes registration of golfers and on course assistance.
Light office work when needed.
The assistant must commit to minimum 3-4 days a week in the office. Hours to be determined.
What You Bring to the Team:
The person selected for this position must be available for work weekends and or weekdays.
Employment period if from April to Oct
Must have a valid driver’s license and solid driving record.
The ability to lift as much as 50lbs is required as there are setup containers that my weigh as much.
Proficiency in Word and Excel are required.
Proficiency in social media platforms and an understanding of working with websites.
General understanding of tournament setup or the ability to learn in a fast pace environment.
Willing to learn new software such as Golf Genius.
Will be required to pass SafeSport training for Junior golf.
We will provide hotel and mileage reimbursement for out of town trips. Uniforms will be provided. Lunches at all events will be compensated. You will be responsible for your own cell phone. We will provide computers when needed.
This position will report to NNGA Executive Director, Andrew Workman, PGA.
The position will also work alongside our two previous Boatwright Interns who have continued to work for us on a full time basis.
