Mass Golf is offering a paid 3+ month USGA P.J. Boatwright, Jr. Internship position focusing on Communications and Digital Media that is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience to an individual who are interested in pursuing a career in communications, social media or digital media.
Internship Dates
May 2021 – August 2021. Start/end dates are flexible.
Qualified applicants will learn all functions of a Communications Department within a State Golf Association. Some specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Provide event coverage in both written and digital form, including but not limited to pre-event press releases, special interviews, daily updates and post event recaps.
Assist with on-site posting of content to web sites, photo galleries and social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Must have a basic working knowledge of WordPress and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator and After Effects).
Responsible for pitching and developing unique video content including post-production editing.
Assist with graphic updating, editing and creation.
Help build historical archives of stories, photos and videos.
Assist with research, writing, fact checking, stat checking and proofing of content for the magazine
Provide support for First Tee Massachusetts and Youth on Course activities.
