About The Role:

Bluevine is seeking an experienced and accomplished Paid Media manager to oversee all our Paid Media investments across Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, Video, OOH, and other new digital formats to drive acquisition, retention, and cross-sell efforts. The person in this role will develop hypotheses and tests, and design campaigns while constantly examining and optimizing for results (balancing volume needed with CAC required). Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, and partnering closely with Marketing Analytics, Website & Content, Product Marketing, Product / Dev, Business Operations, Risk, Finance, and Sales, this person will own strategy development, execution, and optimization of all paid digital media channels to meet our Customer Growth, Revenue, ROI, and Profitability targets.

This position is both strategic and operational. You will also be responsible for continually testing new channels and strategies and being proficient in multi-touch attribution, A/B testing, and measurement. You'll collaborate with web development/product teams to enhance acquisition funnel improvements and work with design and content teams to develop response-driving and on-brand creatives for each channel. You’ll manage growing acquisition budgets and goals, while successfully meeting KPIs around Customer Acquisition Cost, Return on Investment, and Long Term Value. You will also routinely present the programs and results to the cross-functional partners and convey complex information in easy-to-understand terms with clear actions and will need to exhibit excellent communication skills (written and oral). You partner with a team of paid media marketers and analysts to create an agile test and learn operating rhythm to drive successful execution of strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

  • Lead and manage comprehensive paid media acquisition campaigns across diverse channels including Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, Video, OOH, and Partnerships.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and effectively reach SMB target customers, constantly optimizing segments, audiences, messaging, and creatives.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and aggressive spending and volume targets.
  • Manage advertising budgets effectively, allocating resources across various channels to maximize return on investment (ROI)
  • Work closely with peers and agency partners to test and optimize new media channels and programs, finding new sources of scale and efficiency through innovation
  • Conduct advanced data analysis, including multi-touch attribution (MTA) and media mix modeling (MMM) to understand customer behavior trends and inform new strategies, constantly improving personalization, automation, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance landing pages, user experiences, and conversion paths, and support product launches, events, and enterprise initiatives.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 8+ years of experience in paid media acquisition marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience at technology companies in the SMB or Financial Services is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree required / Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Expert in leveraging paid media across both digital and traditional channels for high-growth businesses.
  • Strong leadership presence, adept at guiding teams towards strategic objectives
  • Mastery of Performance/Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM, Display, Retargeting, Video,
  • Paid Social, Affiliate) & Growth Data Analysis (Segmentation, Attribution, Data Modeling), alongside proficiency in traditional marketing strategies.
  • Stay abreast of latest tools and technologies, excelling in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Programmatic DSPs, Video, Audio, etc.
  • Utilize marketing data analysis and testing platforms (Google Analytics, CDPs, Optimizely) to optimize both online and offline campaigns.
  • High-level expertise in examining user funnels and identifying growth opportunities
  • across all marketing channels.
  • Strong hands-on project management skills with a team-oriented mentality, capable
  • of effectively managing complex, multi-layered work streams in a fast-paced,
  • cross-functional environment.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $119,800 -$146,700
This role is also eligible to earn annual performance-based incentive compensation in the form of a cash bonus

This is a hybrid roleAt Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened following local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.
