Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, services or products.

A successful Contract Administrator will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company. You should also analyze contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits while ensuring compliance with the law. Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.

Ultimately, you should ensure all our contracts conform to legislative requirements and meet our company goals.

Primary responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase of sale of goods and services.
• Oversee the administration of all contracts, including customer contracts in salesforce.com.
• Negotiate standard legal terms and conditions and escalate special terms and conditions to the CFO for resolution.
• Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets, and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.
• Track contract related authorizations and correspondence with customers and vendors.
• Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.

• Notify appropriate internal parties of upcoming contract termination and/or renewal dates.
• Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, facilitate contractor meetings.
• Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications, and government regulations.
• Analyze and mitigate legal risk in all contracts.
• Create language standards for existing and new contracts
• Prepare and submit statutory filings related to corporate governance

Requirements
• 2 – 5 years’ work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or in a relevant role
• Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
• Familiarity with software-related IP and customer contracts a plus
• Excellent writing, analytical and organizational skills
• Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
• Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; additional qualifications in law are a plus
