The Demand Planner will be responsible for analyzing Blueground's market forecasts and taking appropriate action based on the results of this analysis. They will work closely with Blueground's product and design teams, as well as all parties involved in the Supply Chain. The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing any risks associated with the demand and supply of products, and keeping all internal stakeholders informed. This role will play a crucial part in executing the demand planning outputs by managing the numbers involved in export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve planning systems, infrastructure, tools, and methods
- Always seeking better solutions to be adapted to Blueground’s growing structure
- Report, analyze, and deliver KPIs (Forecast Bias & Accuracy, Supply Chain KPIs, Stock-on-hand days, Business Waste)
- Manage short-term demand requests and problem-solving
- Translate potential supply risks from the purchasing team and ensure clear
communication to internal customers - Highlight gaps in the demand plan and make sure that related teams of Blueground take necessary actions.
- Obsolete stock management: identify obsolete stock risks, initiate and follow through with required actions to sell out obsolete stock and avoid them
- Drive the Supply Chain responsibilities in various projects
- Preparing orders for export operations by analyzing forecast and stock availability
- Define stock parametrization for the company and improve stock level while securing service given to markets
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Supply Chain Experience (demand/ supply planning or Sales Forecasting)
- Fluent in English
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in conditions that include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities in tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
