We are looking for an ambitious Financial Reporting Associate Manager based in Athens, to join and support our group reporting department. By contributing to the overall efficient operation of the department and by helping the company be fully aware of its financial condition, this role can help the company make the right decisions and accomplish long-term success. The ideal candidate should have very good knowledge of reporting practices and accounting principles.

What you will focus on:

  • Lead the preparation of statutory consolidated financial statements.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation process 
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance with IFRS and statute
  • Establish audit processes and relationships with external auditors to support the group audit of financial statements
  • Coordinate and provide guidance to local accounting teams for proper application of accounting standards and alignment on reporting requirements
  • Develop and document accounting policies and business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls for all countries in which the company operates
  • Assist with other transformation/transaction-related projects and/or ad hoc projects

What we are looking for:

  • Accounting & Finance graduate studies from a top-tier University
  • Postgraduate studies or ACCA accreditation are highly appreciated
  • 7-8 years of Accounting and Financial Reporting experience, combining audit/ assurance and industry background
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, consolidation and reporting practices
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Efficiency in communication and collaboration across team and functions 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hands-on approach with exceptional analytical acumen
  • Experience in the use of Navision 365 accounting software and financial consolidation system will be considered as a plus
