Are you the type of Account Manager who thrives when working in a collaborative environment as a member of a multi-discipline customer team? Does celebrating the successes of your customers light you up just as much as (if not more than) overachieving against your revenue goals?

We've got a job for you.

Working remotely from within the United States, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with our largest customers in the media space and support them as they rely on BlueConic to drive and execute their most important marketing executives. Following our differentiated sales approach characterized by Expertise, Partnership, and Empathy, you will be tasked with supporting all aspects of the business relationship, ensuring clients are meeting their business goals while also overachieving against BlueConic’s commercial goals.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the primary commercial point of BlueConic contact and internal advocate for the buyer/budget holder and as the liaison between the customer and internal teams, including Customer Success and Product.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to develop tailored growth plans for the accounts in your portfolio and to ensure the customer meets their success metrics for the software.
  • Own the relationship with your customer portfolio, including communicating with stakeholders on a regular basis and in response as required, while establishing deep and wide relationships across the organizations.
  • Maintain a book of business for which you will be goaled on achievement of gross churn and expansion targets, and for forecasting and reporting on gross churn and expansion pipelines to management.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience achieving quota and carrying a book of business comprising large accounts in a B2B software/SaaS account management role (or directly related position), ideally within the marketing technology space.
  • Superlative communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
  • Well-honed negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude and strong understanding of what levers can be pulled to structure deals that are attractive to customers and BlueConic alike.
  • Proven ability to deftly manage escalations, timelines, priorities, and expectations, both on a customer-by-customer basis, as well as across your portfolio.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills that set you apart from your peers.
  • Gone above and beyond for clients and can speak to the resulting quantitative and qualitative success from your efforts.
  • A consultative selling approach, spending time with the customer to intimately understand the business problem(s) they are trying to solve, and recommending a specific, tailored solution.
  • Deep understanding of organizational dynamics and multi-level decision making structures within a customer organization.
  • Experience leveraging networking tools and teams to expand the breadth of relationships within the customer organization.

It will set you apart from the pack if you have:

  • Experience working with customer data platforms, digital analytics, personalization/tag management, campaign management, and/or web-based technologies.
  • Worked in the marketing technology space for a considerable part of your career.
  • Previously been a marketing practitioner, either at a brand or agency, and have a firm grasp on marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Worked in the Media space, either with a media brand and/or company

Reasons to join us:

  • Help build the best company in marketing technology, period.
  • Make an outsized, transformational impact - for your customers, for BlueConic, and for your career.
  • Enjoy a flexible, remote-first approach to work.
  • Thrive in an inclusive, multi-cultural environment with a values-driven work culture that has been deliberately crafted from the beginning.
