Bluebeam, Inc. develops innovative technology solutions that set the standard for collaboration and workflow efficiency for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction professionals worldwide. Our customers build some of the world’s coolest projects from state-of-the-art hospitals to bridges to sports facilities, and everything in between. 

The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of relevant work experience in strategizing, writing, and editing high quality content as well as previous experience managing a high traffic blog and budget.

You should be well versed in all things content—curation, creation, distribution and amplification—brand consistency, storytelling, audience engagement and analytics. We’re looking for a combination content junkie/numbers geek/investor in people who can leverage and grow our brand identity and culture to build and align content experiences.

Your time will be spent driving content strategy for our blog, creating initiatives that integrate product content with editorial content, and inspiring original and thought leadership content while managing a team of freelancers to produce material that capitalizes on our unique industry position and access. You will consume as much intel as humanly possible from other industry blogs, teams in Marketing, our customer-facing teams, third-party publishers, the web, etc.

  • Manage every aspect our of company blog including budget.
  • Work closely with Creative and UX design team to ensure blog look and experience stands out in the industry. 
  • Understand Bluebeam’s unique brand identity and positioning within the AEC industry while keeping a focus on global market awareness and growth to inform strategy and adapt to changing goals/initiatives.
  • Work closely with all teams, including Marketing, Product Marketing, PR, Media, International, Sales, Experiential and customer-facing teams to experiment with new ideas, develop unique approaches to content channels, clarify strategic goals, and encourage team participation in curating content.
  • Run weekly editorial meetings, monthly content sync-ups, brainstorms and content development meetings.
  • Actively improve processes and collaboration by seeking out feedback and combining that with previous experience or new ideas to make the team run even more efficiently
  • Manage/grow our team of domestic freelancer writers and grow our international freelance network.
  • Write Bluebeam branded and non-branded articles for the blog, newsletters and digital multi-media platform in addition to external media outlets as necessary.
  • Collaborate with our internal video team to produce industry trends, thought leadership and brand videos for the blog.
  • Identify external distribution channels and influencers to amplify content.
  • Partner with the Analytics team to collect, monitor, analyze and routinely report data from the blog to internal stakeholders.
  • Proofread and edit existing content to ensure message consistency, proper grammar, sentence structure, punctuation and technical accuracy.
  • Socialize and market content internally.



  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in strategizing, writing, and editing high quality content and managing a blog.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (English, Journalism, Communications, etc.)
  • Must have outstanding written communication skills, a strong understanding of grammar, and the ability to adapt style and voice for various articles.
  • Must demonstrate experience in proving the valuable role that content plays in the marketing mix with a clear understanding of marketing funnel, KPIs, and metrics expectation and results.
  • Must have great communication and interpersonal skills, representing our company and brand when interacting with customers and media. 
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be a self-starter who is ready, willing and able to own and prioritize multiple tasks with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and communicating well in a team environment.
  • Must be available for occasional travel for Bluebeam, blog and industry stories.
  • Must be creative and assertive, and a competent researcher who is comfortable asking questions and seeking answers.
  • Must be a self-starter who is ready, willing and able to own and prioritize multiple tasks with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and communicating well in a team environment.
  • Must be comfortable working with tight schedules and unexpected challenges.
  • Must have a good understanding of good design and aesthetic principles.
  • Must be comfortable giving and receiving feedback and have a desire to continually improve.
  • Must be proficient with WordPress and Microsoft Office applications.



  • Experience writing in the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry or technology space is a plus.
  • Huge bonus points for B2B or B2C2B experience.
  • Experience using PDF software for electronic markup and editing is a plus.
