As Bloomreach continues to evolve and our customer base grows, we are seeking a hands-on, experienced Product Operations Manager who can lead the execution of the operations for our Engineering department. 

The Operations Manager needs to be able to see the big picture, understand initiative-level objectives, and be able to apply their understanding of how processes should work to create operational improvement. Your primary focus will be to work with Engineering application teams -- with cross-department partnerships with Finance and IT to find the best way to design new processes and solve process-related problems. This often involves mapping existing processes and designing improved ones to create “fit-for-purpose” solutions. 

The Production Operations Manager has the responsibility to ensure alignment between processes, strategic objectives, and the overall business architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations support, a deep understanding of DevOps practices, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

What you'll do:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
  • DevOps Implementation: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS and other relevant tools to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Operations Support: Provide advanced support for application and infrastructure issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and collaborative workflows.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with security standards and government regulations, maintaining a high level of security and compliance across all operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the DevOps processes and tools, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Proven experience with the java stack and AWS services.
  • Strong background in operations support and incident management.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
