Become a Manager, Quality Assurance at Bloomreach. The testing of Search, Merchandising, Recommendations & SEO products is handled by the QA team based out of India. The QA team is the gatekeeper of quality at Bloomreach and handles both manual and automation testing for releases, feature improvements and product launches which involves collaborating with teams located globally. Various types of testing handled by the team are: validation testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, UI testing, tool testing/development/maintenance, end to end testing, etc. The manual QA team is responsible for safeguarding and maintaining the quality of our core products at an exceptional level. 

Your job will be to:

  • Implement the vision, technology roadmap and business goals for your scope of deliverables.
  • Lead a small agile team of high-performing test engineers with a diversity of experience backgrounds and locations.
  • Collaborate with the Automation team to build a high-level automation strategy.
  • Operate with scale and speed, amidst flux, in a fast-paced environment while contributing to business goals and product strategies.
  • Implement metrics to measure quality, track over time, and continually improve. Innovate with commercially available testing frameworks.
  • Partner with Engineering Leaders, Managers and Product Management, and enable them by owning the integrity of scalable and high-quality technology solutions.
  • Help attract, select and hire best-in-class talent and help retain top performing talent by creating clear career paths and providing technical mentorship.
  • Manage and respond to escalations as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with a third party vendor on QA tasks.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related degrees.
  • 6-8 years of industry experience with 1+ years of experience in managing direct reports and their careers.
  • Capable of handling ambiguous business requirements with excellent prioritisation, time management abilities and focus on execution.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and developing QA teams and people.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the e-commerce industry and software development life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman/Rest client and Debugging skills using Chrome Dev Tools.
  • Proficient in Functional testing and UI/UX testing.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and can meet hard deadlines
  • Proactive, creative and self-motivated.
