Become a Senior Global Revenue Accounting Advisor for Bloomreach! Help us build a new global revenue accounting team focusing on accurate revenue recognition of a SaaS growing business. Your starting salary will be 2700€ per month with stock options and other benefits included. Working in one of our Central Europe offices or from home on a full-time basis, you´ll become a part of the Finance & Accounting Team.

Your job will be to:

  • Supervise a Revenue Global Advisor to perform contract analysis review including identifying non-standard terms and conditions to ensure the revenue is recognized in compliance with US GAAP (i.e. ASC 606) and Company revenue policy. 
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional groups across the business for contracts review and pricing questions and updates to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Perform Stand-alone Selling Price (SSP) allocation analysis for applicable deals to ensure proper revenue recognition. 
  • Assist Senior Accounting Manager with SSP analysis updates to maintain up to date SSP of product items under all product pillars. 
  • Assist researching accounting guidance, documenting Company's position on various revenue transactions and maintaining non-standard terms assessments template. 
  • Assist with new revenue system implementation testing and documentation. 
  • Supervise a local team of revenue accountants in Slovakia and help troubleshoot revenue recognition-related questions. 
  • Support annual financial statement audit process. 
  • Ad hoc requests and projects as needed. 

Your success story will be:

  • Perform detailed level review of the revenue advisor’s work effectively and help the advisor to develop and improve contract review and revenue analytical skills. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the treatment of revenue accounting transactions and guide the revenue advisor to tackle the complicated contracts review. 
  • Help to evaluate current contract review and SSP updates processes gap and to make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Support the review and analyze new accounting pronouncements related to revenue recognition when applicable to the Company and assist with the implementation and documentation of new standards. 
  • Support new revenue system implementation. 

You have these qualities and experience:

  • Professional - analytical and accounting/financial experience 
  • Personal – supervising, team-related skills, communication

Professional experience

  • 5+ years of Accounting and Finance with 3 years+ of revenue related experience
  • Enrollment in some professional qualifications, such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA advantage
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP (ASC 606) revenue recognition are required. 
  • Experience with high technology SAAS companies is strongly preferred. 
  • Salesforce CRM platform and NetSuite experiences are the advantages
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google sheets
  • Experience in supervising staffs is desired

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, fluent English verbally and in writing
