The Role
As an Account Manager, you will own a quota-carrying role focused on expanding business within existing accounts. This position requires both a hunter mentality to identify and close new sales opportunities within our customer base and a farmer mindset to build relationships and drive long-term client success. You’ll conduct discovery calls, demo additional solutions, and manage a pipeline to proactively generate new revenue from existing customers while ensuring ongoing account engagement.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual who possesses strong communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A positive and proactive attitude is crucial to ensuring client satisfaction, paired with a results-driven mindset. Relationship management experience and a disciplined approach along with the demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales cycle, (including prospecting and expansion) is required. Ultimately adaptability, openness to learning, drive, and the ability to build strong relationships will be paramount in this role. A passion for SaaS solutions and client success will lead to success as an Account Manager at Bloomerang.
What You Will Do
Sales Cycle Management:
- Own and manage the full expansion sales cycle, from prospecting within our existing client base to closing new opportunities and driving repeat purchases.
- Identify and qualify upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
- Provide tailored solutions and product demonstrations to clients, addressing their specific needs.
Lead Handling:
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and inquiries from potential clients and uncover expansion opportunities from those leads
- Actively prospect into assigned accounts, identifying decision-makers and engaging them in strategic discussions to introduce additional solutions
- Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT criteria).
Sales Outreach:
- Drive outbound outreach to engage existing customers in expansion conversations, setting discovery meetings and leading consultative sales discussions
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of sales prospects and opportunities
Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on the features and benefits of our SaaS products.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to clients and leads.
Tech Savvy:
- Stay informed about the latest technology and SaaS developments.
- Be proficient in using relevant software and tools to effectively communicate and demonstrate our products.
What You Need to Succeed
- Sales Skills: Drive outbound outreach to engage existing customers in expansion conversations, setting discovery meetings and leading provocative sales discussions
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for effectively conveying product benefits, building relationships, and responding to client inquiries.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills are needed to manage leads, track client interactions, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Adaptability: The ability to quickly learn about new SaaS products, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and respond to evolving client needs is crucial.

Compensation
As this is an incentive compensation role, there is a base hourly rate with annual on target earnings of $105,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
