Trade Operations Analyst, Investment Management

We are seeking a highly motivated Trade Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Institutional business, working in our London office. This individual will support most finance and operations functions for our investment management division, which includes our proprietary trading desk, institutional custody and staking group, lending desk, and our OTC spot and derivatives desk. The Trade Operations Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our trading activities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support Daily Operations: Handle day-to-day responsibilities such as crypto and fiat settlements, trade reconciliation and settlement, P&L and position level reporting, liquidity management, and exposure analysis.
- Process Automation: Participate in automation initiatives around reporting reconciliation and seek opportunities to improve processes using Python and SQL for data ingestion.
- Data Analysis: Provide analytical support by utilizing advanced Excel skills, Python, and SQL to analyze large data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams including the proprietary trading desk, custody and staking group, lending desk, and OTC desk to ensure accurate and timely operations.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trading activities, P&L, and position levels.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in trade operations or a similar role within financial services. Experience with crypto or blockchain technology is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Python, and SQL is required.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various business functions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex scenarios.
