We are looking for outstanding compliance operations talents to join our Compliance Operations team as a SAR Analyst. In this role, you will work closely across the global compliance team and other functions in the company to provide support on compliance and regulatory matters focusing on financial crimes compliance. The SAR analyst supports the Compliance program for Blockchain’s EU and Rest of World operations, which focuses on regulatory reporting compliance (e.g., SAR drafting, CTR reporting, QA) and also includes other compliance requirements (e.g., regulators’ requests, governance, etc.).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Review Suspicious Activity reports (SARs) and do quality checks according to the requirements
  • Conduct a review of prepared material about detected transaction monitoring alerts for incoming and outgoing transactions
  • Report Suspicious Activity reports (SARs) to the relevant authorities (FCIS, FINCEN, etc.)
  • Ensure feedback loop and communication within other team members of quality assurance results and continuous improvement
  • Liaise with official authorities for their investigations, support in preparing the responses to authorities
  • Provide Quality Assurance reviews on other team member’s work
  • Respond and remediate issues identified by the Compliance, Support, Risk, and Onboarding teams within Blockchain.com
  • Assist in projects, monitoring, and investigations, as directed by your supervisor and MLROs

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Lithuanian language is a must requirement to apply for this role

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in compliance, financial crimes, and operations at a regulated financial institution or consultancy
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team set up, good organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in AML, or from an operational team where AML is a part of your day to day activities.
  • Basic MS Excel / Google spreadsheet, MS Word skills are mandatory
  • Professional experience with FinTechs/cryptocurrencies is advantageous but not required. 
  • Professional experience with transaction monitoring is advantageous but not required.

This job is located in Lithuania, Vilnius.

  • You can work from anywhere in Lithuania with 2-3 days per week spent with the team in the office.

Depending on skill set and experience, the salary for this role will range from 32,000 to 40,000 EUR per year
