We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will join the data science team working on business intelligence and customer analytics, driving deep understanding and improvements across our products and business processes. The role will primarily involve analysing and visualising data across multiple sources to identify interesting patterns and trends to support decision making.

What you will do:

  • Apply your expertise in data mining, and data visualization to extract insights that can inform our business and product decisions.
  • Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data
  • Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion
  • Work together with the product and/or market teams to identify the key metrics to measure the different aspects of the business. Create and maintain dashboards to visualize those metrics and track KPIs

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of fundamentals of probability and statistics 
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of Python for Data Analytics (e.g. Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, MatPlotLib, Scikit-learn)
  • Attention to detail
  • Commercial mind and ability to put numbers into a business perspective
  • Strong communication skills, experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating technical results to stakeholders

 Nice to have:

  • Experience with Crypto
  • 1-2 years commercial experience in a related role
  • Experience with finance, trading, product development and/or customer care.

Middle:

What you will do:

  • Identify and communicate data insights that improve the way we deliver consumer experience and meet business goals
  • Source appropriate data to support the creation and implementation of product strategies
  • Work across CS, Marketing and Product, help define retail customer segmentation and customer journey profiles
  • Derive insights from data and communications and align these insights across other relevant data projects
  • Create a framework and operating rhythm of using data in products to help us to make data-driven decisions, with the help of existing (amplitude, segment) and new tools

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of fundamentals of probability and statistics 
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases

  • Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data
  • Provide best practices and frameworks for data analysis and validation and ensure reliability and accuracy of solutions
  • Work together with the product and/or market teams to identify the key metrics to measure the different aspects of the business. Create and maintain dashboards to visualize those metrics and track KPIs
  • Set up a hierarchy of metrics for product/ family of products
  • Identify and communicate data insights that improve the way we deliver consumer experience and meet business goals
  • Source appropriate data to support the creation and implementation of product strategies
  • Work across CS, Marketing and Product, help define retail customer segmentation and customer journey profiles
  • Derive insights from data and communications and align these insights across other relevant data projects
  • Create a framework and operating rhythm of using data in products to help us to make data-driven decisions, with the help of existing (amplitude, segment) and new tools
  • Take leadership on implementing the hardest part of the system or feature.
