Fintech Lending Specialist
The role
The Fintech Lending Specialist is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio and Oakbrook. This role will will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Bank Posting: Accurately post daily transactions into our financial software, ensuring all records are up-to-date and reconciled.
- Mailbox Management: Monitor and manage multiple email accounts, responding to client inquiries and directing messages to appropriate departments.
- Accounts Payable Management: Process invoices and payments, maintain records, and assist in vendor communication to ensure timely transactions.
- Month-End Support: Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end closing activities, including data preparation and report generation.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and addressing concerns to ensure a positive client experience.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies within the finance and client communication functions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field.
- Certification: ACCA aspirant preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Experience: Previous experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, particularly in a fintech or lending environment, is advantageous.
Must-Have Skills:
- Communication Skills - Important for serving as the primary contact and ensuring a positive experience.
- Accounting Skills - Essential for managing daily bank postings, accounts payable, and month-end support.
- Accounts Payable and Financial Transaction Management - Required for processing invoices and payments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- SQL and Power BI Knowledge - Beneficial for data management and process improvement.
- Experience in Fintech or Lending - Advantageous for understanding the unique requirements of the fintech industry.
- ACCA Aspirant Certification - Preferred but not essential, indicating a commitment to advancing finance knowledge.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
About you
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fintech Lending Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for daily bank postings in our software, managing mailboxes, accounts payable management, and supporting month-end processes. You will also facilitate end-to-end client communications, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
